I had believed that BBC Burmese program works for people in Myanmar, including all ethnicities who live in Myanmar since many centuries ago.However, what I am witnessing now is BBC is supporting Rohingyas who are claiming themselves as one of the national ethnic people from Myanmar. Frankly, they are illegal immigrants – they are not indigenous people rooted in Myanmar. Portraying those illegal immigrants, Rohingyas, as ethnic group is betraying and insulting to all ethnicities in Myanmar. It is unscrupulous, uneducated, unethical and unprofessional media practice. BBC and BBC Burmese program owe apology to all people in Myanmar and around the world. Shame on you!

Aye Maung I am an Arakanese or a rakhine who believes in Buddhism and graduated in Social Pedagogy from University of Aberdeen, Scotland. As I was born in a small village of Arakan ( Rakhine State )and BBC used to be my best friend. We relied on BBC to catch updated News from all over the world. I listed to BBC every night and shared the news to my uneducated parent and villagers. However, it is sad to see that my BBC has betrayed its listeners, encouraging false and fake article to post on their website. BBC did not seem to realize that posting Anna’s article about so called Rohinga would create big social tension between Bengali Muslim and Buddhist Arakanese in Arakan state of Myanmar.



Mong Bha I am really surprised and upset to see that BBC has such kind of blindfold,docile and obedient contribution for the hoax story for those who has sordid political targets. I have no point to oppose to the rights of Citizens for those who live in this country for ages in Myanmar. But I am so confident that I have decent right to oppose those who are so cunning to invent false history so as to get some financial supports for their survival. There is no Rohingya in Arakan State, but Bangli people. BBC, don't neglect the truth for any reasons.
